Federal Judge Refuses to Delay Tracy Morgan Injury Lawsuit
Last year Tracy Morgan and friends were on their way home from a Delaware casino following a performance when their limousine was violently hit by a Wal-Mart truck driver. Morgan was seriously injured and one passenger, comedian James McNair, was killed. The driver, who is facing criminal charges, has requested the civil case for injuries be delayed until the resolution of his criminal case but this request was denied by a Federal Judge. The lawsuits seek compensation for the injury victims and alleges Wal-Mart’s trucking practices place passengers on America’s roadways at great risk of serious injury or death.
