First lawsuit filed following Amtrak Train Derailment

An employee of Amtrak has been the first to file a lawsuit for injuries following the recent derailment of the Northeast Regional train. The employee, who was working on the train, was thrown around the train and his body was struck multiple times before slamming into the floor. As a result, he sustained a traumatic brain injury, lacerations and contusions, and various orthopedic and neurological injuries. This lawsuit has been filed in federal court and seeks damages in excess of $150,000.00.
