Four more Amtrak passengers file suit after Northeast Regional Train Derailment

Following the recent derailment of the Northeast Regional train leaving 8 people dead and more than 200 injured, four more passengers have filed suit against Amtrak in federal court in Philadelphia. One of these injured passengers nearly severed his right arm when the crash left him pinned under a car. Fortunately, several surgeries were able to save his arm. These recent law suits allege the rail line failed to install an automatic braking system and that an improper acceleration was made into a dangerous curve on the track.
